Why celebrities should no longer stay away from politics – Erica Nlewedim

Erica Nlewedim has counseled celebrities not to stay away from politics as advised by many.

The Big Brother Naija reality star cum actress said the advice to celebrities to stay away from politics will no longer work because they are the ones who will be used as “scapegoats“.

She said celebrities have been staying away from politics and “the situation has been getting worse”.

Erica Nlewedim also asserted that personally, she’s yet to make up her mind on the best person for the job because amongst the top 3 presidential candidates, she isn’t sure who can actually make a difference.

 In her words:

“The advice to celebrities is to stay away from politics cos we’re the ones who will be used as scapegoats but we’ve been staying away and the situation has been getting worse so I’m no longer staying away. Still making up my mind on who’s the best for the job!

We have one person we the youths don’t want! And then we have the other two, but what truly makes one better than the other? Who’s actually going to make a difference?.”
