US Rapper Diddy reacts to alleged post of him mocking Burna Boy’s Grammy loss

American veteran rapper and billionaire music mogul Sean Love Combs, popularly known as P. Diddy, has reacted to rumours of him mocking Afrobeats Superstar Burna Boy’s Grammy loss.

The Nigerian singer was nominated in two categories in the recently concluded 65th Grammy that held on february 5.

Burna Boy lost both categories and an alleged post from Diddy making fun of the singer for trying to win without him suddenly surfaced.

The said post, which has gone viral, alleged that the rapper posted on his Instagram page saying:

I helped you win your first and only Grammy award, which I did out of kindness, and somehow you thought you could win another without my help? Oh okay.”

PDiddy, who was the executive producer on Burna Boy’s 2020 album, “Twice as Tall,” that won him his first and only Grammy, publicly debunked the statement, claiming it was fake, after several media platforms shared it. Commenting on the post with his verified Instagram account, he said:

This is fake.”
