Actor Sisi Quadri buried in Iwo, Osun

...as TAMPAN mourns over demise

Popular Nollywood actor, Quadri Oyebanji also known as Sisi Quadri, has been buried.

Sisi Quadri was buried in his hometown of Iwo in Ede Local Government Area of Osun State.

The late Nollywood actor was buried according to Muslim rites at about 1pm on Saturday.

Sisi Quadri died on Friday at the age of 44.

His death was revealed by some of his colleagues in the Yoruba movie industry.

Disclosing this on her verified Instagram handle, actress Abiola Bayo said: “You will be greatly missed, Sisi Quadri. May your soul rest in perfect peace”.

Sis Quadri was renowned for his exceptional comedic talent and his ability to deliver cutting insults with finesse.

His demise was also confirmed by the Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN.

TAMPAN National President, Bolaji Amusan popularly known as Mr Latin, confirmed Sis Quadri’s death in an Instagram post.

Mr Latin wrote: “Hmmmmm! May God grant him eternal rest.”
