Caterer allegedly attacked by groom’s brothers over small chops at wedding ceremony in Lagos

A lady has taken to Twitter to narrate how her younger brother was brutalised at a wedding ceremony in Lagos.

She said her brother works with an event planner as a caterer and was the person in charge of small chops. According to her, the groom‘s younger brothers attacked him because he was trying to tell them to go sit in the party hall that he will send someone to serve them during the wedding ceremony.

The woman said her family wants justice because “all what the police could say is its the case of the rich that we should drop it.”

Sanni Anuoluwapo @ashabiwealth tweeted: My younger brother was brutally injured at his work place by some Rich folks ,all what the police could say is its the case of the rich that we should drop it, pls we need justice!

He works with an even planner, he is the one in charge of small chops, those guys are the younger brother of the groom, they attacked him because he was trying to tell them to go sit in the party hall that he will send someone to serve them. It’s a long story, I can only summeriz.

The event planner @EventfulNigeria is not dropping their names , she is trying to protect them and her bizness name ,that is why I’m calling for help ,we need an human right lawyer that can help us.”

Her younger, who is the victim later replied her tweet, confirming the attack on him.

He said happened to him on 10th of April 2021 and that he has not been feeling too well.

His tweet reads: It actually happened to me, on 10th of April 2021, I’ve not been feeling too well to come online, bt I’m a bit better to come here now, if not for God, I would be dead by now bcuz the smash was really strong.
