An unidentified young man accused of engaging in homosexuality was beaten mercilessly in Okija area of Anambra state.
The gay man was first tied to a tree after which his accusers started flogging him.
According to a video of the incident, those who brutalized him accused him of sleeping with underage boys in the neighbourhood.
After he was well beaten, they paraded him round the village naked.
His accomplice was given a lesser treatment because he’s a minor.
The video, which many people described as horrible has been removed for violating YouTube’s policy on violent or graphic content.
