Alaafin of Oyo: Ex-wife, Queen Dami embarrassed, allegedly sent out of palace after showing up to mourn

One of Alaafin of Oyo’s estranged young wives, Queen Damilola Adeyemi was reportedly chased out of the palace after she showed up yesterday with mourners.

The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, died on Friday, April 22, and his demise has already been trailed with a lot of drama.

Recall that Dami left the palace after she was allegedly locked up in a cell for going against the palace rule. Days after her departure from the palace, she began to speak on why she left. In many of her comments, she bashed the monarch and the palace.

Months later, Queen Damilola, in a post shared on her Instagram page, apologized to the monarch for speaking ill of him. She mentioned that frustration and some friends misled her to leave the palace.

In a new video posted by Gistloversgram on Instagram, Queen Dami, who had initially left the palace and abandoned the king, finally returned upon news of the monarch’s death. A lady in the video, who is said to be one of the late king’s daughters, was seen raining heavy curses on the Olori.

The same lady was heard saying that she did not want to see Queen Badirat and all the other young oloris who abandoned the palace when the Alaafin was still alive. According to her, there would be more trouble if they dared to show their faces on the premises

One of the late king’s people was also heard questioning the young queen on why she was at the palace.
