10 police officers injured as the convoy of Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed got involved in an accident.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the accident happened on Monday, March 1 while the governor was inspecting a 60- kilometer road project in Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area (LGA).

According to report, the Toyota Hilux conveying the police officers veered off the road around 1:30 p.m and somersaulted twice after losing control as a result of the huge dust that made visibility almost impossible.

It was also learnt that there was no record of life lost and injured officers have been taken to Bununu general hospital in Tafawa Balewa LGA for treatment.

In other news, WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed has tackled his Benue state counterpart, Ortom to prove that he, Bala Mohammed is engaging some people to assassinate him.

Recall that the Benue State Governor, Ortom on Monday, February 22 at a press conference alleged that he had received a death threat from herdsmen and that the Bauchi state governor should be held responsible if anything happens to him.

This allegation was made by Benue state governor, Ortom barely two weeks after his Bauchi state counterpart, Bala alleged that he was sponsoring the attack and profiling of Fulanis as criminals.
