Nigeria records 360 new COVID-19 cases, more fatalities

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 360 new cases of COVID-19 in 18 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The new record brings the total number of confirmed cases since its outbreak in the country to 156,017.

According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, Lagos recorded 120 new cases.

Other states with fresh cases include Edo-38, Kaduna-25, FCT-23, Imo-23, Delta-19, Akwa Ibom-17, Plateau-17, Rivers-16, Nasarawa-15, Kwara-13, Oyo-9, Ogun-8, Bauchi-4, Osun-4, Kano-3, Kebbi-3, Niger-2 and Katsina-1.

133,904 patients have been treated and discharged while 1,915 deaths have been recorded.
