Police arrest teenage girl who allegedly stabbed her brother to death for questioning her movement in Ondo

Police have arrested a 17-year-old teenage girl who allegedly stabbed her brother to death for questioning her movement in Ondo.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the 17-year-old girl identified as Biletiri Idowu Ruth allegedly stabbed her elder brother, Kehinde Joshua Biletiri on Thursday, March 19, 2021, at their home at Igbokoda area of Ondo State.

It was also learnt that the teenage girl came home the following morning after spending the night elsewhere.

When questioned by her brother about her movement and why she spent the night elsewhere, it led to a hot argument.

The 17-year-old girl reportedly picked a knife and allegedly stabbed him with it.

He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Ruth is now in police custody.

In other news, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that Isreal Ikumuyi, a 27-year-old farmer, was arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Oke Eda, Akure, on Friday, March 12, for raping a 10-year-old girl to death.

WITHIN NIGERIA gathered that the incident happened on February 2, 2021, at Akinfosile village near Igbotako community in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo state.

It was also learnt that the primary school girl identified as Esther Friday, was lured into the room by the suspect who promised to give the little girl some amount of money.
