A yet-to-be-identified roadside trader was on Tuesday crushed to death along Gbongan-Osogbo road, Osun state.
It was gathered that the aged woman who sells roasted plantain and yam was crushed by a Honda car with registration GGE235GL around 1:30pm on Tuesday at her business place.
The driver was also said to have sustained injuries in the lone accident
According to an eyewitness, Raheem Adigun, the accident occurred some minutes after the woman arrived from the market.
The spokesperson, Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Agnes Ogungbemi, who confirmed the accident stated that “the victims had been taken to the hospital and the vehicle involved was towed to Ataoja police station.”
