A young man has reportedly died inside a collapsed soakaway pit in Okumagba layout area in Warri, Delta State.
It was gathered that the deceased immediately died as the pit collapsed inside a new compound built by a politician at Karien Street in Okumagba layout.
Details of the incident is still sketchy as of the time of this report.
Policemen from “B” Division in Warri have evacuated the remains of the deceased and deposited same in a morgue.
The Divisional Police Officer “B” Division in Warri, CSP Kelvin Ziokumor in a telephone chat with DAILY POST said one John Asotu reported the matter at the station, saying the property where it occurred belongs to his niece.
According to CSP Ziokumor, they were working when the pit collapsed and killed the young man.
