The Ancient City of Kano has been thrown into mourning following the demise of the Wife of late Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero and the Mother of the current Emir Aminu Ado Bayero, Maryam.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that she died in Egypt.
Maryam Bayero has been sick in a Hospital in Cairo after being admitted for weeks.
Maryam Bayero is the Daughter of Emir of Illorin, Kwara State, Sulu Gambari, wife of late Emir Ado Bayero and Mother to the Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero and Emir of Bichi Nasiru Ado Bayero.
