‘My life is in danger’ – IPOB lawyer alleges invasion by security operatives

IPOB's lawyer, Ifeanyi-Ejiofor

Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, lawyer to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has cried out alleging that a joint team of the police and Army have invaded his home and have been shooting sporadically.

Ejiofor made this known via his Twitter account on Sunday while calling for prayers that it could be the last time he is heard from..

He stated that he did nothing wrong to warrant such an invasion on his home.

“A joint team of the police and Army are presently in my house shooting sporadically on sight, to arrest me.

“As a lawyer I don’t think that I have committed any offense known to law to warrant this sort of invasion. My life is under serious threat.

“People are being killed and I don’t know what will happen to me next,” he wrote.

Reacting, former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, said he just spoke with the lawyer and his home has been flooded with security operatives.

“I just spoke with Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, who is one of my lawyers & a lawyer to IPOB & @MaziNnnamdiKanu, He told me that his Anambra home has been flooded by soldiers, policemen and DSS operatives & that they are shooting in an attempt to kill him.

“For God’s sake stop the violence,” he wrote.
