Thirty-eight-year-old notorious armed robber, Morrison Godwin who has been terrorizing Sapele and its environs has been arrested by the Police Surveillance Patrol in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State
The Police also recovered one locally-made pistol and seven live cartridges from the suspect who is said to be on the watch list of security.
The Delta State Commissioner of Police Command, CP Ari Muhammad Ali, who confirmed the report in a statement signed by Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, said Godwin was arrested at his residence in Ojolu area in Sapele.
According to DSP Edafe, “Upon searching his house, one locally made pistol and seven live cartridges were recovered. An investigation is ongoing.”
