Nigeria records 30 new cases of COVID-19 in eight states

As at the battle against COVID-19 continues, Nigeria has recorded 30 new cases of the deadly disease in eight states across the federation.

The COVID-19 result was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update for Monday, November 15.

According to the agency, the states that reported new infections are Abia (9), Bauchi (7), Kaduna (4), Kano (4), Cross River (2), Rivers (2), Bayelsa (1), and Jigawa (1).

The agency said the report include seven cases reported for Bauchi on November 14 (1) and November 15 (6).

No deaths were recorded on Monday, leaving the number of fatalities at 2,968.

Meanwhile, 38 persons were discharged after recovering from the infection.

Since the index case in February 2020, 213,177 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed with 205,770 recoveries across the country.
