Sanwo-Olu’s aide, Ayo Williams is dead

Ayo Williams, an aide to Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is dead.

Williams was the Senior Special Assistant on Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) Enforcement.

Scores of people have besieged the hospital “Willy” (his alias) died on Sunday.

The Bashorun of Yaba was an environmentalist, philanthropist, politician and security consultant.

Sanwo-Olu is expected to issue a condolence message on the passing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) member later today.

In other news, Chiemeka Arinze, one of the co-defendants in the alleged kidnap of trial of Chukwudimeme Onwuamadike, alias Evans, has died in the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Service.

Recall that Arinze was charged alongside, Evans, Joseph Emeka, and Udeme Upong with the attempted kidnap of Chief Vincent Obianodo, the Chairman of Young Shall Grow Motors.

They were arraigned before Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of an Ikeja Special Offences Court.
