EFCC declares man wanted over alleged N213 billion fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC has declared the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MBA Capital and Training Limited, Maxwell Chizi Odum, wanted over alleged N213 billion fraud.

Accirding to the statement released by the anti-graft agency, Odum has been declared wanted over an alleged case of conspiracy, obtaining money by false pretence and money laundering to the tune of N213 million.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that protesters suspected to be victims of scam reportedly stormed the EFCC headquarters in Abuja to protest an alleged forex scam.

Leader of the protesters identified as Christian Agadaga alleged that Odum absconded with over N100 billion from people all over the country.

“We are gathered today to seek the help of the EFCC chairman to help us track down Maxwell Odum and help retrieve all our money back and also for him to face the full wrath of the law. A lot of people are suffering from this unfortunate incident,” he said.
