A fire incident has killed a four-year-old boy, razed down four houses and destroyed valuables worth millions of Naira in Jigawa State.
The incident took place on Monday night at Mabab village of Batu constituency in Birniwa Local Government area of the state.
Chairman of the Local Government Area, Alhaji Umar Baffa Birniwa, who confirmed the incident after he paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased said the cause of the fire is not known.
Umar Baffa said the fire was quenched through the efforts of security agencies and good Samaritans.
He prayed for the soul of the deceased internal rest and also assured to support the victims.
