PHOTOS: Buhari lands in Kaduna straight from Banjul

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Kaduna to begin a two-day official visit. He flew to his home state from Banjul Gambia on Wednesday night.

He was received at the airport by Governor Nasir El-Rufai, deputy governor Hadiza Balarabe and other officials.

While in Kaduna, Buhari will inaugurate road projects and other facilities executed by the state government, including the Dangote Peugeot Automobile Nigeria Limited.

The visit will take Buhari to Zaria, Kafanchan and the capital, Kaduna, where projects have been listed for commissioning.

According to Muyiwa Adekeye, special adviser on media to Governor El-Rufai, the key projects include the re-modelled Murtala Muhammed Square, Infectious Disease Hospital all in Kaduna.

There is also the Sabon Gari market in Zaria.

The list also included 19 road projects in Kaduna, Zaria and Kafanchan towns.

The most iconic of them is the Kawo flyover, which has three grand rotaries and access roads.
