Troops of the 149 Task Force Battalion in conjunction with the Civilian Joint Task Force have killed an unspecified number of Boko Haram (BH) and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists in Gubio, Borno State.

The Nigerian Army disclosed this on its Twitter page on Thursday.

According to the tweet, four AK-47 rifles, two motorcycles amongst other items were recovered from the terrorists.

“Troops of 149 Task Force Battalion in conjunction with CJTF while on fighting patrol today 10 Feb 2022 neutralised scores of BHT/ISWAP terrorists in Dunga Lawanti village near Gubio in Borno State.
“Troops recovered four AK-47 rifles, two motorcycles amongst other items,” the tweet read.
