The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Jubrin Abubakar, has been declared winner of the Gwagwalada Area Council election held on Saturday in the Federal Capital Territory.
Abubakar polled 11,125 votes to defeat his opponent, Mohammed Kassim of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, who polled 9,597 votes.
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said that election won’t hold in 593 polling units in the FCT because they have no registered voters.
