Biden reveals first attack Russia wants to launch against US

President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, urged business sector partners on Monday to immediately strengthen their cyber defenses.

The President cited changing evidence indicating that Russia might execute hostile cyber activities against America in a matter of days.

Biden, on the other hand, guaranteed that his administration will employ every weapon available to deter, disrupt, and, if necessary, respond to cyberattacks on critical infrastructure.

The American leader, in a statement on Monday, acknowledged, “the Federal Government can’t defend against this threat alone,” CNN reports.

“Most of America’s critical infrastructure is owned and operated by the private sector and critical infrastructure owners and operators must accelerate efforts to lock their digital doors,” the President said.

“The Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has been actively working with organizations across critical infrastructure to rapidly share information and mitigation guidance to help protect their systems and networks.”

Biden said that right from his first day in office his administration has done well to strengthen the US national cyber defenses.

He said the US congress has supported his administration in the efforts, while calling on the members of Congress to do more in this sense.
