Buhari redeploys Mohammed Abdullahi to Environment Ministry

President Muhammadu Buhari has authorized Mohammed H. Abdullahi’s immediate re-deployment as the substantive Minister of Environment.

The reassignment, announced in a brief statement by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, took effect on April 6, 2022.

Mohammed H. Abdullahi was the Minister of State for Science, Technology, and Innovation prior to his appointment.,

“The President hopes that he would bring his wealth of experience to bear on his new assignment for the growth of the country,” the terse statement added.

In other news, former Nigeria President, Goodluck Jonathan, on Wednesday evening, escaped death after he was involved in an auto crash in Abuja.

The accident claimed the lives of two of his aides, Leadership reports.

One of his aides was quoted as saying that the former president was fine and back home.
