A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State, Alhaji Abubakar Habu Muazu, has gifted officials of the party the sum of N10 million.
He made the gesture on Thursday, saying the donation was to assist the officials in the spirit of Ramadan.
He said the donation was also spurred by the current economic challenges, adding it will enable family cater for the needs of their respective families.
Habu Muazu, who is also a senatorial aspirant for Gombe Central Senatorial District, explained that the gesture was to assist the party officials and loyalists to observe the Ramadan fasting comfortably.
Our correspondent reports that the N10m was shared to eight state executives from Gombe central, six zonal leaders, 594 local government executives from Akko and Yamaltu/Deba LGAs, as well as selected groups and social media teams in the two LGAs.
