Many killed as NAF airstrikes destroy bandits’ hideouts In Taraba

Airstrikes launched by Nigerian Air Force have annihilated bandits’ enclave around Kambari village in Karim Lamido Local Government Area of Taraba State

According to Daily Trust, many bandits were killed in the  airstrike, which started three days ago.

Three locals riding on motorcycles were killed around Kwatan Nanido in Gassol local government during the airstrike, the media outlet reports.

The bandits, it was further gathered, have been in Kambari axis for the past two months and were said to have been responsible for most kidnappings and killings in many villages across Bali, Gassol and Karim Lamido local government areas of the state.

Spokesperson of Taraba police command DSP Usman Abdullahi said the command was aware of the operation, adding that it was purely an Air force operation.
