Fifteen passengers sustained injuries after a luxury bus crashed near a bridge in Abaji on the Abuja-Lokoja highway.
The accident was said to have occurred on Saturday around 1pm after one tyres of the luxury bus with registration number, JBD 581 XZ, busted and the bus crashed into a ditch.
According to Daily Trust, a witness said 15 passengers out of 49 on board sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital men of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
The Abaji Unit Commander of the FRSC, ACC Shehu Abubakar Dogondaji, who confirmed the accident attributed it to tyre bust, speed limit violation and loss of control.
