Dr. Ognonnaya Onu, Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovations, has expressed his intention to join the All Progressives Congress, APC’s lengthy list of presidential hopefuls.
The minister, who disclosed his interest at a ceremony in Abuja on Friday, stated that he purposefully postponed his declaration to allow Nigerians to return from the celebrations, given the significance of his aspiration.
In other news, President Muhammadu Buhari has stated the Federal Government’s intention to take over the management of the King David University of Medical Science and Technology in Ebonyi State.
The tertiary institution is situated in Uburu, the hometown of State Governor David Umahi.
According to reports, Buhari made the announcement while speaking to stakeholders and political leaders during a two-day visit to the state.
