UCL final: Ancelotti reveals only doubt about Real Madrid’s XI against Liverpool

Carlo Ancelotti, manager of Real Madrid, has disclosed his only worry regarding his team’s starting lineup for the Champions League final against Liverpool.

Real Madrid will face Liverpool in the Champions League final in Paris on May 28.

The LaLiga champions advanced to the Champions League final after defeating Manchester City earlier this month in the last four, while Liverpool overcame Villarreal.

“I have no doubts about the starting XI in Paris,” Ancelotti stated during his pre-match news conference before of Real Madrid’s LaLiga encounter against Real Betis on Friday night.

“My only doubt is about who will play a more important part, those who start or those who finish the game.”

He added, “It’s true that they are still fighting for the league title,” Ancelotti responded when asked whose position he’d rather be in.

“We have had more time to think about this game. But we have not thought about it and we won’t until Monday.

“But we’ve got everything ready. Real Madrid fans are excited about the Champions League final and we want to win the 14th. Nothing else.”
