Hoodlums suspected to armed robbers a 37-year old man, Zaphaniya Ishaya, in Dabi community of Kwali Area Council of the FCT.
The incident reportedly happened on Monday night around 11pm when the hoodlums invaded the community in their numbers.
According to Daily Trust, a resident, Danjuma Japhet, said hoodlums operated from house to house dispossessing their victims of valuables.
Danjuma said the hoodlums who were carrying machetes, sticks and other objects descended on the Ishaya and inflicted a deep machete cut on his head, adding that he later died in the hospital.
The FCT Police spokesperson, DSP Adeh Josephine, could not be reached to confirm the incident aa at the time of filling this report.
