Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Progressives Governors’ Forum (PGF) are currently meeting behind closed doors with the party’s national leadership.

The meeting is being held at the ruling party’s national secretariat.

Governors from Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Kaduna, Nasir El-Rufai, Kano, Umar Ganduje, Plateau, Simon Lalong, Niger, Sani Bello, Nasarawa, Abdullahi Sule, Borno, Babagana Zulum, Gombe, and others were present.

Around 8 p.m., the governors arrived at the party’s national secretariat.

They went to the party’s NEC Hall to meet with members of the National Working Committee (NWC).

The meeting is not unconnected with the controversy rocking the party over the choice of the party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 presidential election.
