Arms recovered as troops kill several ISWAP/Boko Haram terrorists in Borno

Nigerian troops from 115 Battalion have killed several Islamic State’s West Africa Province (ISWAP) and
Boko Haram terrorists during an aggressive clearance operation around Lassa & Kelle villages in Borno State.

The Nigerian army said that the operation took place on Thursday, 9 June 2022.

This was disclosed in a statement on Friday June 10.

The troops also recovered one gun truck, two civilian Hilux vehicles, arms and ammunition.

WITHIN NIGERIA reports that Boko Haram is a terrorist organization that has been responsible for the killings and destruction in northeastern Nigeria. The terrorists group is also active in Chad, Niger, and northern Cameroon
