Heavy gunshots in Osogbo as army arrests Asiri Eniba

Thugs allegedly working for the Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Oroki Branch, Osogbo, Kazeem Oyewale, exchanged bullets with the Army at Old Garage in Osun on Friday.

According to reports, Oyewale was later arrested following the gun duel with operatives.

In other news, the Edo State Police Command arrested Ahmed Ibrahim, a notorious burglar, for stealing nine plasma television sets from three different hotels in Edo and Lagos states.

This was stated by ASP Jennifer Iwegbu, the Command’s Deputy Public Relations Officer.

According to the statement, “On 14/07/2022 at about 0930hrs, Edo State Police Command has arrested one suspect for burglary and stealing.

“This success was made possible by Ekpoma Area Command, who received complaint from one Mr Adekunle Olalekun, the manager of Mindcast hotel, Ekpoma, Edo state, that on 13/07/2022 at about 1700hrs, one Ahmed Ibrahim ‘M’ 24yrs booked for three rooms in the hotel.
