Terrorists attempting Nigeria Law School invasion ambush Buhari’s guard in Abuja

On Monday in Abuja, the Presidential Guards Brigade engaged in a gun battle with terrorists.

Three of the highly trained officers were seriously injured when the terrorists ambushed them.

According to reports, the gunmen planned to attack the Nigerian Law School.

The signal seen by the Nigerian Tribune confirmed that the suspected terrorists ambushed troops on routine patrol along the Kubwa-Bwari road.

“Three soldiers were injured during the attack. The soldiers have been evacuated for medical attention. Details on the extent of their injuries are still under confirmation.

“The ambush attack happening within the general area of Bwari shows that the terrorists are actually within the location and possibly preparing to carry out their plans to attack the law school in Bwari as earlier reported”, it reads.

The Presidential Guards Brigade, an elite arm of the Nigerian Army, is responsible for protecting the President of Nigeria.

The attack occured just a day after terrorists threatened to abduct and kill President Muhammadu Buhari and Kaduna Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.
