It was another eventful Monday in the university town of Nsukka, Enugu state following the sporadic spray of gun powder in the evening.
The incident, WITHIN NIGERIA gathered happened at Odenigbo roundabout.
Monday is sacrosanct for the people of South East zone, and as such, no meaningful commercial and economic activity takes place that day of the week.
An eye witness told our reporter that ” I was heading towards Ogurugu road from Barracks junction when I heard the sporadic shootings. I thought it was police but I was not convinced enough to continue. I didn’t see anybody on the road to ask. So, I had to turn back immediately.”
