Shock as PDP Senator, Chimaroke Nnamani makes Tinubu’s Campaign Council list

Senator Chimaroke Nnamani, the federal lawmaker representing the Enugu East Senatorial District in the upper chamber, has been named to the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, for the upcoming 2023 election despite being a member of the opposition party.

Prior to the official start of the 2023 campaign, the ruling party released its list of campaign council members on Friday.

James Faleke, a federal lawmaker and PCC Secretary, made public the list of the council’s 422 members.

However, it is observed that Senator Chimaroke, who was elected on the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, platform, was listed in the council list as a member Directors and Secretaries of Directors.

The former Enugu State Governor who had severally attacked supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi was sighted as number 350 on the council list.

Recall that the lawmaker had in a series of tweets on his Twitter handle, described Tinubu as “the hardest working Politico of this generation”.

The former governor condemned the attack on the alleged ill-health of the former Lagos governor, saying that those mocking Asiwaju may also have their shares later.
