Nasarawa speaker says Darul-Salam terrorists made him cry

The speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, says the activities of Darul-Salam terrorists traumatised him.

Speaking when he paid sympathy visit to some communities affected by flood, Abdullahi said the terrorists made him weep.

Abdullahi, who is representing Ugya/Umaisha constituency in the state, said the activities of the Darul-salam terrorists had almost forced people to stop plying the Toto-Ugya-Umaisha road,

He, however, said the people have heaved a sigh of relief after the intervention of the state government.

“In fact, it got a stage that people travelling along Toto-Ugya-Umaisha road could no longer ply the road because of attack of Darul-Salam terrorists but to God be glory that today, a big sigh of relief has come the way of my people,” he said.

“In fact, the day I heard that Darul-Salam terrorists invaded my constituency, I came down from my bed and started weeping. I later went and performed ablution and observed two Raka’at nafila prayers.”

He called on people of his constituency to support the APC-led administration under the leadership of Abdullahi Sule, towards improving security of lives and property in the area.

He also urged the youth to continue to remain peaceful and law abiding to constituted authorities especially at the peak of electioneering campaigns activities.
