Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 election, has been referred to as “the best-packaged fraud” by Omoyele Sowore, the AAC’s presidential candidate.
Charles Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State, said on Channels TV’s Politics Today on Thursday night that the investments attributed to Obi during his tenure as governor of the state were worth practically nothing.
Asked what had become of Obi’s investments in Anambra and if he was looking in that direction, Soludo replied: “I don’t know anything about that. I think there was something I read about somebody speculating about whatever investment.
“With what I’ve seen today, the value of those investments is worth next to nothing. So, let’s leave that aside.”
Reacting to the controversy, Sowore wrote on his verified Twitter handle: “Charles Chukwuma Soludo @CCSoludo unveiling and unraveling @PeterObi on @channelstv over his fake investment portfolios. He stated that the “purported investments are next to nothing”.
“Peter Obi is the “best packaged” fraud! #WeCantContinueLikeThis @TakeItBack.”
