Former Deputy Speaker Lasun Yusuf has endorsed Abubakar Atiku of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) against Labour Party (LP) nominee Peter Obi.
Before joining the LP, Yusuf was elected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Obi has been told that the Osun LP governor candidate for 2022 will deliver Osun in 2023.
Sen. Iyorchia Ayu, the PDP national chairman, gave the former Deputy Speaker the party flag on Wednesday when the PDP was holding its presidential primary in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, at Freedom Park.
Yusuf prayed that Atiku will emerge as the winner of the 2023 presidential poll.
