BREAKING: Obi announces Okupe’s replacement as campaign DG

Former Political Adviser to President Olusegun Obasanjo, Mr. Akin Osuntokun, has been appointed as the new Director General of Labour Party Presidential Campaign.

This was announced by the Party’s National Chairman, Julius Abure, in Abuja, on Tuesday.

He said the decision was reached after wide consultations with party stakeholders across board.

Osuntokun will be replacing Doyin Okupe who resigned from the position last week after he was convicted by an Abuja high court over money laundering that occurred when the latter served as special adviser to former president, Goodluck Jonathan.
