Hon. Abdulrazak Namdas, a member of the House of Representatives from Adamawa State and Secretary of the Logistics Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), says 27 governors are working to ensure victory for the party’s candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
According to Namdas, Tinubu is believed to have the support of 22 APC governors and 5 governors from other parties.
Though he did not name the governors, he expressed confidence that Tinubu will be able to win the presidency in 2023 regardless of party affiliation.
Namdas stated during his constituency grand rally in Jada, Adamawa State, that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar, who is also from the state, will not win the February 25, 2023 presidential election.
The lawmaker stated that the people would vote for the APC in all positions up for election.
Tinubu as President can’t work efficiently if the people refuse now to vote APC from top to bottom, Namdas said.
He added:
The truth is that we have already won this election by the special grace of God. We have told them earlier, we already had 22 States, we also have five Governors on another platform which we believe strongly are coming to vote for us. That means we have about 27 States.
