Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, the presidential candidates for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP), have requested permission from the Presidential Election Court (PEC) in Abuja to inspect election-related materials.
Two ex-parte motions they submitted to the PEC secretariat at the Court of Appeal, Abuja, contain their request.
Today is the scheduled hearing date for both motions, which have the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and two additional parties listed as respondents.
While Atiku filed his own on March 1, Obi’s motion was filed the next day.
