Four people have been reported deceased in an accident that occurred in the Lafenwa neighborhood of Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.
According to reports, a tanker carrying diesel crashed into a store and many cars parked along the road.
The accident happened on Friday night, according to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
According to Florence Okpe, an FRSC spokesperson, many people were trapped in the collision since the truck quickly took fire.
Okpe said two other vehicles were involved in the crash that occurred at Lafenwa roundabout.
She said the total number of persons involved in the accident could not yet be confirmed.
However, she said four male adults have been confirmed dead by responders.
