2023: INEC Chairman Has Done Well, Tinubu’s Election Is An Act Of God – Ogah

Tinubu

Comrade Chinedu Ogah, the lawmaker representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, has praised the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, for a job well done in preparation for the 2023 general elections.

Those calling for Yakubu’s removal based on the conduct and outcome of the 2023 elections, according to Ogah, are enemies of Nigeria.

The lawmaker also congratulated President-elect Bola Tinubu and Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima on their electoral victories, saying that it was God’s will for them to win.

WITHIN NIGERIA reports Ogah made his submission in a statement on Sunday where he also called on those who have grievances concerning the outcome of the polls to go to court.

He said:

The INEC Chairman has done marvelously well. Those calling for his removal are enemies of Nigeria. Some of these persons didn’t even vote during the election but are now playing to the gallery because of their selfish interests.

We appreciate the outcome of the election. We congratulate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sen. Kashim Shettima for their victory at the Polls. Their election is an act of God. It is left for the judiciary to play their role.
