Presidential Election: What Would Happen To Peter Obi’s Votes If Tribunal Orders Rerun – Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri, a former presidential media aide, has claimed that Labor Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi is wasting his time at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT).

Obi, according to Omokri, has no chance of winning the court case.

Should the tribunal order a rerun, the socio-political activist argued that Obi would receive fewer votes than he did in the presidential election.

He went on to criticize Obi’s vice presidential candidate, Datti Baba- Ahmed’s, remarks.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that in a recent national television interview, Baba-Ahmed asked Nigeria’s Chief Justice not to swear in the President-elect on May 29.

Speaking on the development, Omokri tweeted;

Seriously, Peter Obi is wasting his time at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal. As things stand, even if the Tribunal orders a rerun, he will get less votes than he did on February 25, 2023. Not only has he destroyed himself, he has set back his region!

I read @PeterObi’s statement denying alleged treason. I believe the #NigerianElections2023 was rigged. However, I agree that Datti Baba-Ahmed’s comments were near treasonable. If Obi does not condemn his running mate’s comments, then he is guilty by association!
