‘Only A B*stard Would Come Up With Such Stupid Law’ – Lagos LP Chieftain Slams Obasa

Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly

Babatunde Gbadamosi, a Labour Party (LP) chieftain, has slammed Mudashiru Obasa, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, over a proposed new property law.

WITHIN NIGERIA reported that Obasa announced on Tuesday that the state would pass new laws to protect its indigenous peoples.

Obasa, who was elected speaker of the Lagos Assembly for the third time, stated that the legislative agenda would include laws and resolutions on economy and commerce, property and titles, and reversal of all that is reversible to protect the interests of indigenes.

Obasa, who alluded to some of the controversies surrounding the 2023 elections, including the claim that non-indigenous people wanted to take over the state, declared Lagos to be a Yoruba land.

Reacting on Twitter, the former governorship candidate in Lagos State claimed that such a law, which he described as ‘stupid and insane,’ could only be proposed by a wandering bastard.

Obasa and his cohorts, he claims, dispose of the Lagos indigenes’ lands and right to self-government while claiming to be protecting them.

He tweeted;

Only an ọmọ-àlè, àtọ̀nhúnrìnwá, ojúòrọ́lárí would come up with such a stupid and insane law. Many current members of the Lagos State House of Assembly, including the gbéwiri speaker, are in the aforesaid category.

They dispossess the Indigenes of their lands and the right to rule themselves, then turn around to claim that they’re fighting for the same Indigenes. Ọkàn gbogbo yín ò mà dẹ̀ ní balẹ̀.
