Transfer: Willian takes final decision on leaving west London club

Willian, a former Chelsea winger, has decided what his future at Fulham will be.

After being given better terms, the Brazilian will now sign a new contract with the club, according to talkSPORT.

This past summer, he had turned down the club’s initial offer and appeared to be leaving.

But Craven Cottage has persuaded Willian to remain because manager Marco Silva is keen to keep the seasoned winger on staff.

According to talkSPORTS, Willian only signed with Fulham in September 2022. He had previously played for Chelsea, Arsenal, and Corinthians before returning to London.

After his flop spell with the Gunners, there was not much expected of the 34-year-old back in the Premier League, but he impressed in a Fulham shirt with five goals and six assists in 30 appearances to help the Cottagers finish tenth in the table.
