Vice-President Kashim Shettima is meeting behind closed doors with member of the private sector, including Mr. Tony Elumelu, the founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation, and Mr. Aliko Dangote, the chairman of the Dangote Group.
Dr. Muhammad Ali Pate, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, is also present for the conference.
International development partners are also in attendance, among them Schubham Chaudhuri, the World Bank’s Country Director.
