Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), revealed the party’s strategy to increase the number of governors and legislators under its nationwide banner. Ganduje emphasized that implementing this blueprint is a key focus, driving the party’s year-round activity.

During a visit to the APC media centre, Ganduje highlighted the party’s commitment to active engagement throughout the year. He emphasized that, besides expanding its political presence, the party aims to effectively communicate the government’s progress to the people and provide recommendations aligned with its manifestos.

In a related development, the Kogi State chapter of the APC has taken a decisive stance on members who worked against the party’s success in the November 11 gubernatorial election in the state. Abdullahi Bello, the state chapter chairman, announced this during the submission of the report of the Election Review committee inaugurated three weeks ago. Bello assured that loyal members who contributed to the victory in the last governorship election would be duly rewarded.

I’ve no apology for supporting Tinubu’s govt… I’ll return to APC – Bwala

Daniel Bwala, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, says he is unfazed by the castigation that has greeted his visit to president Bola Tinubu.

The Atiku ally said he was committed to supporting the present administration under Tinubu, adding that he owed no one an apology for his decision.

Bwala, a staunch critic of the governing All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Tinubu administration, also hinted that he might return to the ruling party.

He made this known while addressing State House correspondents after closed-door talks with Tinubu at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja on Wednesday.
