The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State has demanded a comprehensive explanation from Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf regarding the use of the N6 billion allocated for Ramadan feeding in the state.

Addressing the public while distributing food items to constituents in Dawkin Tofa Local Government Area on Saturday, APC State Chairman Abdullahi Abbas emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability in governance.

Abbas stressed the necessity for the governor to provide a detailed breakdown of how the allocated funds were expended, citing the need to ensure proper utilization of public resources.

He stated, “We have chosen to extend assistance to our supporters and fellow citizens to alleviate their economic burdens.”

Abbas further revealed that contributions from various stakeholders, including the national chairman of the APC, Dr. Umar Ganduje, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, and himself, were utilized to procure rice for distribution as relief packages.

The call for accountability underscores the commitment of the APC in Kano State to uphold transparency and serve the interests of the people.
