JUST-IN: Tinubu Appoints Chief Executive Officers For NESREA, NDRBDA

These appointments were made known in a statement signed by the President’s spokesperson on Friday.

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of the new heads for the National Environmental Standards And Regulation Enforcement Agency, (NESREA) and Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority, (NDRBDA).

Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesperson,
in a statement on Friday announced the appointment of Innocent Bariate Barikor as the director general of NESREA and Ebitimi Amgbare as the managing director of NDRBDA.

Barikor, an academic and politician, was a member of the Rivers house of assembly from 2011 to 2015, while Prince Amgbare is a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa.

The President urged Barikor and Amgbare to discharge their duties with utmost fidelity to the nation and unfailing adherence to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and excellent service to the people of Nigeria.
